Help save Letters and Numbers

My family's favourite show on TV ... and my sister's ... and my 94-year old father's!! Countdown just won't be the same. Shame SBS, shame!

We're a migrant family and the program helps each of us increase our vocabulary and sharpen our number skills.

WE WILL MISS THE PROGRAM TERRIBLY.

What can we do to have SBS keep it going? (Surely we won't spend time watching Countdown - whatever it is.)

Cannot understand why you would axe such an entertaining & educational show.

Surely it cannot be a question of cost.

Perhaps the SBS executive are not all that bright.
Please SBS take an Australian poll and get it right.

Letters and numbers is the best show on TV. My 2 year old also loves the show and likes calling the letters as they are drawn out. Very disappointed that the show is to be cancelled. Please reconsider.

Letters and Numbers is such a great show. The whole family loves it and we enjoy doing all the quizzes. it creates a positive competetive edge Richard,Lily and David are terrific. Sbs you must reconsider. it's a shame to stop such an enlightening and educational show.

LAN is a simple concept that is engaging and entertaining. The hosts are genuine, unlike the plastic smarm found on other networks. It was a great lead in to the SBS news. It always had something I appreciated my kids watching, and nothing I didn't want them to watch. Why replace it with something imported, when the local product was so good?

...that Letters and Numbers can be axed, while meanwhile populist crap like Being Lara Bingle can still air (albeit on a different network). Incidentally, most of my family are sitting on the coach watching Lara Bingle as I type this.
