Help save Letters and Numbers

Countdown is truly awful. Please just bring it back!!

Roger: Indeed, but a message mentioning it just effectively becomes more spam. It stands out enough for me to notice it. *chuckles* In some cases it just takes me a bit longer before I can deal with it.

Statistic for anyone interested: So far just a little under thirteen thousand spam comments have been submitted.


As long as I'm posting, I hope that people have been watching the 3PM reruns. For people like me who have not seen the early episodes it has been very enjoyable to watch, and already there have been some very fine performances.

Once again the international spammers are hitting this information website with their rubbish and poor spelling.

We were amazed and very disappointed to hear of the decision to 'rest' Letters and Numbers We watched the regularly while preparing dinner and loved it. Countdown is a very poor replacement despite it being well loved in the UK. My 12 yr old never missed the show and was better than me in the number tests. SBS please review your decision and bring back Richard David and Lily. I agree with other comments, the most intelligent and entertaining show on TV and great family viewing.

We were so sad when Letters and Numbers was axed. The English version is not a patch on the Aussie version. It is too long, and we agree with others that they just seem to be going through the motions. No chemistry between the team members, and even the contestants look bored. Bring back luscious Lily, dorky David and marvellous Morcroft!

My baby boy would get excited every time the music came on and would sit and watch it with me at only a few months old. I have photos of him watching the show. I was looking forward to teaching him as he got older.

Letters and Numbers must return as a stimulating and fun show one can relax and learn from. The great banter between Richard, Lilly and David is a plus while creating masterful cuisine creations in the kitchen, obviously with a GnT in hand!!

We never missed the program, loved it.
If they need to make cuts get rid of whoever made the decision to ax Letters and Numbers, we have never watched the replacement show out of principal.
Hope someone has enough sense to return the team to our TVs.

Letters and Numbers was one of the most entertaining shows on TV with possibly the wittiest and most intelligent cast in Australian TV history. Its UK replacement (Countdown) is simply lame, mindless drivel.

Take a look at the viewer numbers SBS and bring Letters and numbers back!

I'm trying with Countdown (though it's not a must-see for me) but it's just not the same as our own L&N. Please bring it back, or at least tell us when we may expect its return.
