My 2 daughters 7 & 10 years old are hooked on this show as well as me. I believe it is a great show for both their maths & word knowledge. My 10 year old nearly always gets the maths ones...well before I do! How often do you get kids begging to watch such a great show...please don't take it away!

I'm devastated that SBS would axe L&N. Such an enjoyable program with Richard, David and Lily all very engaging.It was great for the brain to have a workout each evening. Fortunately I went to a taping and it was great fun.

It is a wonderful program which gives so much interest and pleasure. Please don't cancel it.

I can't believe that such an excellent, entertaining, witty, engaging, high quality program has been taken off the air. What a thoroughly misguided decision. By all means have a very brief rest, then bring it back asap - and please let us know that that is the plan, with the time frame for its return, immediately!!!!

This was part of our "Keep our Brains active" routine and the fact it is locally produced just added to the pleasure.
Change of Mind is NOT a sign of WEAKNESS!!!

I have just heard that SBS have decided to "rest" the great show "Letters and Numbers". I just cannot understand their decision. It is one of the few shows that brings all of our family together in a competitive and fun way to exercise our brains together.
Why they would decide to do this is quite unbelievable. I hope that they re-consider and I hope that more people contact them and that you listen.
As regards the Uk show Countdown that SBS wants to show. It might fill in between series but it does not have local vocabulary and local heroes.

Would I rather watch Deal or No Deal???? No way! I'd rather watch L & N for its simplicity and its questions that actually make you think. Why get rid of a great show like this???????
